Our Story
Finding Dance is a directory of places to go social dancing. Venues, socials, clubs, and the spots that host them — searchable by dance style, city, and how close they are to you.
The idea is simple. When you want to dance, you shouldn’t have to dig through scattered Facebook groups and word-of-mouth to find out where it’s happening. Finding Dance puts it in one place. Pick a style — West Coast Swing, Salsa, Country, Ballroom, Two-Step, whatever you move to — choose your city, and see what’s near you.
I’m David Carter. I built this because I’m a dancer myself — I compete in West Coast Swing — and I got tired of how hard it is to find where the dancing actually happens. So I made the thing I wanted to use.
